Just Add Ink #373 - 'Just Add Stencils'

This week the Just Add Ink Challenge #373 is 'Just Add Stencils'.
Believe me, there is a fabulous lot of inspiration from the Design Team and the Blog Hop is amazing!

I have made my own stencil. I have used the hearts banner from the 'Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies', and then used a 'Sponge Dauber' to create my project.
Come and have a look...

So, I may have made my own stencil, and I have also used a NEW Christmas Bundle - available in the Holiday Catalogue 1st September, 2017. The 'Hearts Come Home Bundle' is the most delightful stamp set with coordinating Framelits!

The sentiment is just lovely - stamped on top of my stenciled images. You can see where I have outlined the bottom row of hearts.

'All hearts come home for Christmas'
I couldn't help myself and made a Christmas gift tag. I love creating tags, and this little one is all stenciled up and wrapped with a bow.

A little detail with die cut hearts. So cute!

Thankyou so much for stopping by. Make sure you check out the JAI Design Team creations, and we can't wait to see what you create.
Have a fabulous week. D x

Global Design Project - Theme Challenge #gdp099

This week the Global Design Project Theme Challenge #gdp099 is 'Wedding/Anniversary'.
Do you ever get stuck creating a Wedding or Anniversary card? Check out the Design Teams creations - they are amazing!!!

I have made a quick and easy card using DSP & Heat embossing.

My creation uses the 'Wood Textures DSP Stack' as the main element; Wood Wedding Themes are so popular at the moment, and my 'Happy Anniversary' represents 5 years.

I added the White embossed 'Always & Forever' for a touch of feminine, and a 'Linen Thread' bow was a must to finish my creation.

'Always & Forever' Clear Mount stamp set.

Thankyou for visiting and taking the time to see my creation.
Have a wonderful week. D x

Beachy Little Christmas

I have a Sneak peek of one of the NEW Christmas stamp sets from the Holiday Catalogue, available 1st September, 2017.

'Beachy Little Christmas' was at the Top of my list for my Pre-order. It's the cutest stamp set for an Australian Christmas and for our Southern Hemisphere Summer, I used it for a Beachy Little Birthday card.

It was my husbands Birthday yesterday, and this is the mini card I created.
Complete with Surf Beach sand from our beach in Kiama.

I even glassed the surfboard using the 'Fine-Tip Glue Pen'.

Some watercolouring of my beach scene.

And the sand - I smooshed 'Multipurpose Liquid Glue' onto the watercoloured 'So Saffron' and dipped it in the sand.

Details: The surfboard & swirl, roof, door, shutters, window and steps are all paper pieced; ie. stamped in the desired colour and cut to fit the stamped image. I even used a knife to cut out the steps! I used 'Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker' to outline the door & window frame.
You don't have to do this - I do this, and not everyone has the time to create this way. Just letting you know in case you wanted to know.

Before I go I want you to check out my amazing friend and 2017 Artisan Design Team Member Louise Sharp's creation using the same stamp set. Louise's creation is so adorable - Click here to visit Louise's blog and inspiration abound.

Have a wonderful weekend, or what's left of it. D x

Colour INKspiration Blog Hop #CI15

Welcome. You are visiting Denita, and I am part of the Colour INKspiration Crew.
This fortnight's Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge #CI15 is a gorgeous swatch of colours, and I hope you can join in the fun. The Blog Hop is totally awesome!
You can enter your creation/s on our Facebook page.

Colours: Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist & Pool Party

I just love the Colours for this Challenge!
I started with the 'Brushstrokes' Background stamp, colouring the 4 lines with 'Stampin' Write Markers'. The 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies' make a lovely background for the flowers, and I am absolutely loving the 'Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon'.

Using 3 of the colours with the flowers from the 'Oh So Eclectic Bundle', propped onto the Square shape from the 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies'
The backing of the flowers are die cut vellum and they are mounted using 'Mini Stampin' Dimensionals'.

A little flat lay of the markers and inkpad. They all look so lovely together.

Next on the Blog Hop is my friend Rose, who has a gorgeous creation waiting for you to see. Have a wonderful week. D x
