Welcome to another 'Stamping Sunday Blog Hop' - hosted by the lovely Sara Levin
You may have joined me from Lea Denton from the UK (Lea is lovely too), and I hope you continue hopping around to see some wonderful inspiration being our 'Favourites' from the up and coming Holiday Catalogue!

You see this is the problem; I have way too many 'Favourite' products in the NEW Holiday Catalogue, available this coming Friday 1st September, 2017. (6 more sleeps...)
I have pared it down to just 1 Bundle and a few of the NEW embellishments.
*Warning: photo and creations heavy ahead - I have made 3 lots of projects from basic and stepped up from there. Enjoy!

Introducing the 'Merry Little Labels' Bundle - 'Merry Little Labels' stamp set + 'Everyday Punch'. I love a Bundle because you save 10% getting these products together.

I started out with the NEW 'Merry Little Christmas' Designer Series Paper.
'Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes' - the perfect start for all your Christmas cards, with a mat of 'Old Olive' cardstock.
I have stamped the images with 'Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad' straight onto 'Crumb Cake' cardstock. In this case, die-cut with assorted oval & circle framelits dies.

'Merry Little Labels' sitting on the 'Scalloped Tag Topper' gift tags with NEW 'Jute Twine' to attach to your gift. Somewhat rustic.

'Eat, Drink and be Merry'.

My second set using a different pattern of 'Merry Little Christmas' DSP, and this time I used 'Real Red', 'Old Olive' & 'Basic Black' Stampin' Write Markers to colour my stamp images.
And a little bit of fussy cutting with the holly & berries.

Check out the gorgeous NEW '7/8" (2.2cm) Striped Ribbon' - totally gorgeous, and I secured the ribbon with 'Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine'.

And stepped up again - using the sweet 'Old Olive' polka dots pattern from the 'Merry Little Christmas' DSP, and this time I have created Chalk board style tags by heat embossing 'White Stampin' Emboss Powder' onto 'Basic Black' cardstock.

I have used the beautiful 'Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon' for this set of cards & tags (secured with Baker's Twine). It's so sparkly and well, shimmery.

Thankyou for taking the time to get this far. I got a little bit carried away, but now I have some bits & pieces ready for Christmas, or for something to gift on.
Have fun hopping; click on the links below to blow your mind with some NEW ideas and inspiration. D x

Global Design Project - Colour Challenge #gdp101

It's time for another Colour Challenge for this weeks Global Design Project #gdp101. And with every GDP Colour Challenge is the opportunity to be selected as a Guest Designer for the next Colour Challenge! Hope you play along too?

So, what to create using these gorgeous colours? I am in need of a 3D item, a couple actually, and here is what I have come up with...

A mini box! I can't take credit for the design of the box, because Angie Juda has a great tutorial here - I just added my own flair with the decorating.

The 'Label Me Pretty' Bundle was the perfect addition to my box. The 'Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon' is just so lovely too - this is a belly band. I also love the addition of the 'Polka Dots' embossing, in this case it's the debossed side.
And that teeny heart in the bottom right corner - that comes from a NEW Christmas 'Hearts Come Home Bundle', available in the Holiday Catalogue 1st September, 2017.

I have used 'Bermuda Bay' & 'Flirty Flamingo' Stampin' Write Markers for the sentiment, then punched with a Circle punch, and added to the label with 'Stampin' Dimensionals'.
Complete with tea bags, and a couple of chocolate treats. And that colour coordination! Well, something close to 'Bermuda Bay'.

In the next 2 weeks I am having a couple of Workshops/Parties, and I wanted to make something for the Hostesses. I think these little gift boxes are a lovely 'Thank You' gift.

Thankyou for visiting, and you are more than welcome to leave a comment - I do try and reply. They are the best warm fuzzies.
Have a wonderful weekend. D x

The Colour INKspiration Blog Hop has started for the next 3 weeks, and it's a lovely palette of colours.
You may have joined me from RachelWelcome to my blog.
Join us with your own creations, and you can submit your project here.

Colours: Whisper White, Dapper Denim, Sahara Sand & Basic Gray.
Great colours for a masculine creation, and perfect because Father's Day is just around the corner; 3rd September for Australia & New Zealand.

Here is my 'Swirly Bird' yacht sailing away on a Dapper Denim sea from the 'Color Theory DSP Stack'. This Designer Series Paper Stack, right here, right now, has done most of the work for me.

Some textured waves die cut from the 'Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies', and clouds in the sky using the divine 'Embossing Paste' and cloud stencil from the 'Pattern Party Decorative Masks'.

Be sure to keep on hopping, there are some amazing creations to inspire you. Up next is our Guest Designer for #CI16 and you will absolutely love what Jay has created.

Thankyou so much for visiting. I love having you here. D x
